Stayed here over Easter and it had a decent breakfast spread and comfortable pillows. It was very close to the heart of the city and had easy access to trams which was convenient. The hot water didn't run out, which was a bonus.
The hotel lacked general upkeep with signs of wear and tear. The bathroom was small and not very clean.

Within walking distance of twenty seven steps, where you can have lunch. The bed was spacious, after a long drive. Christchurch City Center district definitely deserves exploring.
Nothing, all was good.

Upon arriving in New Zealand to start our independent tour of both islands, we were pleased to find a hotel conveniently located close to the city center. the hotel offered a stunning view of the city's famous cathedral, which added to the charm of our stay. the room was clean and comfortable, providing a much-needed rest after a long journey. the friendly staff provided excellent service, and breakfast was enjoyable with a variety of options to choose from. the location and amenities of the hotel were a great way to start our trip.
The hotel lacked proper housekeeping as the room had several areas with markings and bare plaster.

All staff are specially knowledgeable; Mr Glenn, the front-office manager had impressed me with his hospitality and service.
The family suite ("children room") has no door for privacy. Other than that, everything is good and proper.

Great location near key attractions and staff is helpful. the hotel is within walking distance of major tourist spots, making it easy to explore the city. the staff was very helpful in providing information about the area. There was also a complimentary breakfast which was a nice bonus.
Noisy location and outdated interior. the hotel is situated in a noisy area, making it difficult to sleep at night.

Good bathroom, nice towel--thin, textured, dried well
Hated the beds. Very uncomfortable mattresses and pillows. Bed was listed as King single-- That apparently is not a single bed that is king sized, but rather 2 oversize single beds. It was awful!!! The hotel apparently has 4 star rating-- I give 2 stars.

Good location, very central and near to the Cathedral Square. You can get almost anything nearby. Very helpful staff.
The heater in our works erratically - on and off. Since my stay was for only one night, I did not bother to hotel staff to get it fixed.

Staff were very obliging and informative. Room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Great location in the heart of the city. Would be happy to stay there again.
Both front doors need to be automated - small point, but when you're loaded with shopping, becomes difficult to navigate.

Room was quite small and there was a constant humming noise which was really loud coming from outside. Kept me awake for a while.
